Itinerary
We meet at London St Pancras International and board the Eurostar to Paris in Standard Premier Class. In the French capital, we take our seats in First Class carriages for a journey through the heart of France to the Spanish town of Figueres. Here, we transfer by coach to our hotel which overlooks Canyelles Petites beach in the delightful town of Roses.
Located in the north-eastern area of the Costa Brava, a wild and rocky stretch of the Spanish coastline, we are not far from the centre of Roses, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds - the peace and quiet of our secluded location and the town's attractions when you choose. On arrival this evening, we sit down to a three-course dinner.

Beautiful small bay. Friendly hotel. Summer weather. Good balance between free time and excursions. Did not go on the Barcelona visit owing to the time taken to travel there by coach. Very surprised to hear that the guided tour did not go inside the Sagrada Familia. Excellent brunch at a vineyard and final evening dinner at a beach restaurant. Sunday morning visit to Besalu was excellent as we were there before the crowds arrived.Roses express road train taken on a free day worth doing. Hotel will reserve ticket for you.

This was a fantastic trip. The hotel was in a fantastic location set in a small cove with a lovely beach. The trips were well planned and interesting. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the departure from St Pancras being bought forward by two and a half hours to 7 am (5:30 check in) having to wait in Paris for 4 hours. Only finding out when I phoned to ask why we hadn't received the final itinerary a few weeks prior to departure.

Lovely hotel on quiet bay. Activities were varied. Manager very well organised and helpful. Would be 5 star except for the ridiculously early outward journey.

An excellent location overlooking the superb beach at Canyelles. The old town of Besalu and the Dali museum was the highlight of the holiday.
